Faith....And Spoiled Milk...

I heard this story and had to add it!!

There once was a man serving as a missionary in Chile. It was time for him to go to a new town but it would take a few weeks before he could get to his assigned area. He was an American and the people in the little town he was going to serve in knew that "Americans love cow milk," so they worked really hard to find some cow milk.

Cows were pretty rare in this area of Chile and goats is where they got most of the milk. But eventually, they got a glass of cow milk and were very excited! So they put in on the shelf until the missionary would get there....in two weeks. They didn't have refrigerators or anything to keep the milk from going bad. After two weeks, the milk was brown and chunky, but the family was so excited when there American Missionary arrived at there home and could drink his cow milk.

Well.... HE DRANK IT!!!! And you can imagine what happened.

Well... Faith can be compared to Milk! If you only fill the glass once and put in on the shelf, eventually it will spoil and have to be thrown out! You need to constantly refill the glass of milk on the shelf so you always have fresh milk on the shelf, or in other words... keep nourishing your faith so you never lose it! Read, Pray, Go TO CHURCH!!! you must constantly work to keep that faith Fresh!
